Job Function: Will directly assist the Accounting Team with a wide range of projects related to routine accounting activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and reconcile customer invoices
- Prepare, enter, and maintain accounting documents and records
- Assist with processing credit card transactions
- Create and reconcile customer invoices
- Assist with accounts payable, including coding invoices, reconciling monthly statements and responding to vendor inquiries regarding invoice payment status
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance and physical presence at the assigned work place
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports in a timely fashion
- Knowledge and ability in the use of various software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions
- Must maintain a high level of integrity and dependability to ensure financial information remains confidential
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and react with discretion under varying conditions
Education and Work Experience Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience, is preferred
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable Clerk, is preferred
